Army Navy Passive Viewing System Model 7 is a current issue night vision goggle system used by  the U.S. Military.

OPERATIONS:
    The PVS-7 was used extensively in the Persian Gulf conflict and is currently used in all theaters of operation demanding "low light" stealth and unsurpassed reliability.

    The PVS-7 is also used by local, state, and federal agencies including police, sheriff, DEA, and task forces across the country.

 The PVS-7 has all of the state of the art features desired in a light weight night vision goggle system.  Some of the highlighted features include:

	U.S. Military "Generation 3" light intensification tube
	Extremely light weight sealed housing.
	Comfortable headmount (standard feature ) with 7 point adjustments for a secure fit.
	Can be used as binocular ( with standard neck strap ) or as a goggle system.
	Built in "map reader" IR illuminator for close up work in total darkness.  Illuminator has "red dot" indicator in the eyepiece to prevent you from accidentally leaving it on and revealing your position.
	Automatic "Bright Source" gain control cuts down blooming and prevents accidental exposure to sudden bright lights ( such as headlights, spotlights, flashlights etc.)
	With an optional laser gun sight the PVS-7 affords accurate "shoot from the hip" capabilities.
