The A/N PVS-7 Night Vision Goggles were originally developed to answer the U.S. military's need for a rugged, portable, and maintenance free Passive Viewing System.  The PVS7 is currently in use by multiple branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.  Now, the PVS-7 has become available to the public sector and new applications are being developed regularly.  

    Law Enforcement Agencies have proven the effectiveness of light intensification night vision devices and are ordering units in record numbers.  Hunters and Outdoorsmen enjoy unparalleled stealth and freedom of movement at night.  Incorporating a laser sight on the weapon affords hunters and law enforcement agents unique low light "shoot from the hip" capabilities that can be more accurate than daytime techniques.  Park Rangers and Conservationists can now deter "after hours" poaching activities and gather unprecedented research of nocturnal animal behaviors.  The image that the Gen. 3 PVS 7 goggles provide, in the wilderness, has to be seen to be believed!  

    Many people are purchasing night vision devices in preparation for the year 2000.  While the worst case Y2K Scenarios are unlikely to occur, the probability of extended power outages, wide spread civil unrest (the human factor), or a general disruption of the normal order of our society are very real possibilities.  The PVS-7 runs on standard "AA" batteries and, with the included hands free head mount, provides total mobility in any disaster including Y2K.  NV Devices also provide a "peace of mind" to concerned citizens.  Search and Rescue Teams use night vision for aerial and ground based efforts.  The PVS-7 goggles are light weight and significantly reduce eyestrain so they can be worn for extended periods of time without degrading the users capabilities.  The application with the highest "cool" factor would have to be Night Vision Paintball.  Randy Farris of Hummer Camps developed a night time paintball exercise using our Night Vision Goggle System.  Now, ordinary folks can get out in the muck and simulate live stealth combat missions after dark.
